My wife, my queen, my faith partner and best friend

Words cannot fully capture the love I have for my wife. Prior to my diagnosis she was the guiding light of our family. For those of you who know Darla I am sure you can attest to the light she brings to any room she is in. I count it a blessing to bask in that glow daily. Moving into my battle against cancer Darla has been shining even brighter. The advocacy and tenacity she brings to her work have been on full display with all my doctors and healthcare professionals. She is more than informed on everything I am going through or what I can expect than I am. It’s comforting to know that my partner in life has my back so thoroughly. Also, she literally saved my life. If Darla did not act when she did to kickstart my medical care consequences could have been severe. Even despite my own thoughts Darla would override my decisions to ensure things kept moving. I now read Proverbs 18:22 with a clarity that aligns to my testimony. Thank you Lord for blessing me with my amazing wife and family. I encourage all who are in the process of finding their spouse to continue to center God as the person you choose could save your life.
