Smelling the Roses

Those of you who know me well know I am big college football fan and have been that way as long as I can remember. The pageantry of college football gets no bigger than the Rose Bowl. This week thanks to my awesome wife I got to see the granddaddy of them all: the Rose Bowl. The walk I am on has crystallized for me how important each moment of life is. Maybe it’s visiting an iconic sports venue or sharing a laugh with someone you love each moment you have should be cherished fully. I have not always been good at this and I am using my current faith walk to be more appreciative of all that makes my life full. Let’s smell the roses together and encourage each other to be present to not miss a moment of this beautiful experience of life.
